Who Doubles suits
Anyone who already has a regular partner, and anyone who would rather share the court than cover it alone. It is the biggest category at the Cup.
Two players a side, with the kitchen line doing most of the work. Points are quicker and the play at the net decides more of them than the serve does.
How the Doubles draw works
16 entries are drawn into 4 groups of 4. You play the other 3 in your group, so every entry is guaranteed 3 matches however the day goes. The top 2 in each group go through to the quarter-finals, then the semi-finals and the final.
Group matches are a single game to 15 points, won by whoever gets there first. From the quarter-finals on, a match is best of 3 games to 11, each won by 2 clear points. Both stages use rally scoring: a point is scored on every rally, whoever served.

Entry costs the same whichever you pick, and you can enter more than one, and your matches will never overlap.
